IAP and subscriptions should be used for new func not existing. Especially when the feature itself didnt really work well from the beginning. In my opinion it is bad practice to suddenly remove a feature and make it paid one (on an paid app). You lost me.Īnd so came an end to using #Airmail. Just tried it out and it feels great!Īnd for the record, I would drop money for new features but not for that. #airmail if it bothers you that email client you paid for wants you to pay subscription for *existing* features, try. Please enable the two-factor authentication for that account as Apple made it mandatory.Push notifications now require a subscription. The developer needs to make a stable piece of software. I hate to say this, but there seem to be SO many quirks and strange behaviors that this software is nearly unusable. If i open Apple Mail, I see a completely different set of emails all the time. In other words, I CANNOT use this application (even though I paid for a year of it) because I have ZERO confidence that the emails shown in the browser are ALL my email. Also, It seems that the application only downloads (or has access to) a very small subset of ones total email. It’s very strange and makes selecting anything other than the MOST recent single email nearly impossible. The first, most obvious and strangest is the fact that the main mailbox window “blinks” the email shown in the right hand pane as if it is perpetually updating and trying to re-draw the window. I really want to like this app but there are just TOO many bugs and issues that render this app nearly un-usable. I really want to like this app, but it’s like a beta. It is beautifully simple, has a great design and manages to be practically powerful all at the same time. As it stands, this is the clear winner of all the email applications I have tried. When and if those features are implemented, this will be a perfect app. It would also be really awesome if the app could automatically pull from and email the time and date information and suggest that when exporting an email to the calendar. The features that I find missing are “copy message link” for the macOS version and the ability to set a title and due date for any mail that is being sent to reminders. Any email I get can be instantly processed with these features, so I can focus on clearing my inbox. These capabilities are very synergistic with other apps I use such as Workflowy and Sorted. The most useful features for me have been “unsubscribe”, “send to reminders”, “send to calendar” and “copy message link”. There are just a few things I don’t see that I would like to see. This was the tool I needed to be more diligent about email. Any unused portion of a free trial period, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
